Design for charity

Get a brand new website AND give back

Want a web design that also supports charity? Now you can! Get a friendly and affordable website design for your small business, creative project or start ups and we give a percentage of the design fees to charity. We set out to do things differently when we launched Studio V Ink. We love getting creative and working with like minded people who inspire us, while also giving back. That’s why a percentage of all our fees go to charity or community projects.

Our web design charity for 2018-2019

Our web design charity for this year is Barking Mad Dog Rescue, a charity which rehomes Romanian dogs (and cats!). We picked BMDR as the first charity as Studio V Ink’s resident dog, Max, was rescued by them in 2017. You can head over to Instagram to find out more and see how handsome he is!

Max was abandoned by his owners and left outside for five days, but there are many more dogs with even sadder tales still waiting for homes. Hilary and her team at BMDR, both here and in Romania, work tirelessly to give these dogs a new start.

From their website:

“We’re Barking Mad Dog Rescue. We’re a UK registered charity (1160985) working to improve the lives of abandoned dogs in Romania.

We have a hands-on team in Romania at our shelters in Constanta and Calarasi, where we care for around 450 dogs and puppies, many of whom have been rescued from unimaginable abuse and neglect.

We also provide food, vet care and support to two other shelters in Romania.

In total, we feed 700 dogs every single day.

In the UK, we have a team of volunteer adoption specialists working with potential adopters and foster carers across the country. We aim to rehome as many of the dogs we save as we can. Some though, will never be suitable to make that journey. They are available for sponsor here.

If you think you can offer a home to one of our dogs please read the information here or if you’re interesting in fundraising or getting involved with Barking Mad in any way at all, then contact us here.”

In the meantime, I’ll be keeping the blog updated with how the Studio V Ink fundraising is going. And how the lovely Ailsa, above, is getting on finding her new home. She is BMDR’s dog of the week, so if you’re looking for a new companion… 😉
