The colours on the original logos Magi had commissioned were very harsh and aggressive, and I found the arrows a bit ‘stabby’! They weren’t really conveying what Roots to Change was about at all – 1-1 therapy/counselling/psychotherapy.
Immediately looking at them, I suggested we needed something softer, cleaner, organic, hopeful. Something that’s more representative of what the business is. We still used the spectrum of colours Magi liked, but in a more muted and calming way.
The final logo design is softer, more organic in style and incorporates the idea of both roots & personal growth.
